Helen Christine Jacobsen-Zborowski, age 72, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, near her home in Milton, GA.
Born on July 29, 1953, in Cleveland, Ohio, Helen was the daughter of Rita Lenore and Lester H. Jacobsen. Helen attended Beaumont Catholic High School for girls in Cleveland Heights, Ohio after which she pursued studies in philosophy and psychology at Case Western Reserve and College of DuPage in Illinois.
Helen built a successful career as an Executive Assistant to Partners in Charge at nationally recognized business consultancy and commercial real estate development firms. Helen eventually transitioned into residential real estate, becoming an accomplished agent in Atlanta.
Her distinctive style, humor, wit, and intelligence will be fondly remembered. She was a loving, devoted mother to her son Michael, and an avid reader, amassing a personal library centered on American history, world events, and notable figures. Helen's enduring interests included gardening, interior decorating, and exploring her family ancestry.
In 2022, Helen proudly earned membership into the prestigious Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and remained active in the Patriots of Liberty Chapter NSDAR in Alpharetta, GA until her passing.
Above all, Helen cherished her family and personal friendships. She is survived by her husband Bud, her son Michael, brothers Marty (Mary) and Bob (Nancy) Jacobsen. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Anne Jacobsen-Lewis (Tom). She has 7 loving nieces and nephews: Tudor, David, Ryan, Leslie, Robert, Kimberly, and Michael.
A celebration of Helen's life and visitation will be held at Northside Chapel in Roswell, GA on Sunday, December 28, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
