On Tuesday, June 20th, 2023, Hildegarde H. Schramm, the loving wife of 57 years, mother, and grandmother, passed away surrounded by family. Hildegarde H. Schramm, born in Albany, New York on August 3rd, 1944, to Ingeborg and Daniel Lanzetta, was a resident of Milton, Georgia. She attended and graduated from Milne High School (Albany, NY), Junior College of Albany (Albany, NY), and Russell Sage College in Troy, NY.

Hilde married the love of her life, Gary L. Schramm, and together they have one daughter Heidi. Hilde lived life to the fullest. She was a strong Christian who shared her light with others through her words, actions, talents and the written word. Hilde loved the beauty of nature, wildlife, and being in her beautiful gardens. Throughout her lifetime, she held various careers, including an elementary school teacher, clothing model, wardrobe consultant, and interior decorator. Her passions and talents were abundant and included calligraphy, fashion, interior decorating, gardening, traveling, gourmet cooking, writing to others, sewing, and creating. Hilde was a Christian author who shared her inspirational writings with many. She had a love and passion for animals in need. Alongside her husband, she rescued and raised 10 dogs and 16 cars to be part of the forever family. Hilde was also very involved in her weekly Bible study with her daughter and sisters and Christ. She was passionate about people and spent time uplifting, encouraging, supporting, and praying for others.

Hilde is survived by her husband, Gary Schramm; her daughter, Heidi Schramm-Murray; her son-in-law, David Murray; her three grandchildren, Ashley, Chris, and Daniel; her mother Ingeborg Amery; her sister, Elaine Peaslee; her husband, Joe Cress; and their children Julia and Chris; her nephews, Daniel A Lanzetta III and Ronald Lanzetta.
