Obituary

Hugh Dorsey Sullivan, Jr., a devoted husband, loving father, and respected minister, peacefully passed away on March 8th, 2024, at 3:06 pm, joining his beloved wife, Patricia (Pat) Sullivan, in Heaven. His loving family surrounded him as he embarked on his eternal journey.
Hugh's life was a testament to love, faith, and service. Born and raised in Roswell, GA, Hugh was dedicated to his family, faith, and country. He was born on May 25th, 1936, to Hugh Dorsey Sullivan, Sr. and Annie Mae Feckoury.
After graduating from high school, Hugh proudly served his country as a United States Marine for eight years, achieving the rank of Corporal before his honorable discharge. Following his military service, Hugh pursued his calling to ministry, a path that he walked with dedication and passion for most of his life.
Hugh's unwavering faith in the Lord guided him in every aspect of his life. He served as a minister for many years, touching the lives of countless individuals with his compassion, wisdom, and genuine care. His commitment to spreading love and kindness was evident to all who knew him.
Hugh's personal life was filled with love and adventure. He shared a deep and enduring bond with his wife Pat, whom he joined in heaven on the same date she passed seven years prior, March 8th, 2017. Their love was a beacon of strength and inspiration, a true testament to the power of love and faithfulness.
Hugh leaves behind a lasting legacy through his three children: his oldest daughter, Beverly Smith; second daughter, Mandy Ward; and his youngest son, Keith Sullivan. He was a proud grandfather of six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with his family.
Hugh's love for life extended beyond his family and ministry. He was passionate about travel and cherished exploring new places and cultures with his loved ones. All who knew him will fondly remember his adventurous spirit and zest for life.
A viewing and acceptance of friends and family will be held to honor Hugh's life on Friday night, March 15th, 2024, from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Northside Chapel, located at 12050 Crabapple Rd, Roswell, GA 30075.
Hugh Dorsey Sullivan, Jr. will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his kindness, faith, and unwavering love. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
