James (Boom-Boom) Dinsmore, age 74 of Cumming, GA passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010. He was a caring and wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who loved his friends and family. He enjoyed his retirement years following an 18+ year career with Fulton County, and proudly served in the U. S. Army for three years. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Lottie Reavis Dinsmore, Cumming, GA; daughter, Donna Haney and husband, Dairen Haney, Roswell, GA; three sons, Dyron Dinsmore and wife, Peggy Dinsmore, Dunwoody, GA; David Dinsmore and wife, Kellett Dinsmore, Birmingham, AL; Darrell Dinsmore and wife, Cindy Dinsmore, Cumming, GA; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Shaw and husband, Trevor Shaw, Woodstock, GA; Matthew Haney, Roswell, GA; Kelsea and Chandler Dinsmore, Dunwoody, GA; Kathryn and Julianna Dinsmore, Birmingham, AL; Hannah Dinsmore, Cumming, GA; sister, Bobbie Schmidt and husband, Pete Schmidt, Conyers, GA; two brothers, Billy Dinsmore of Alpharetta, GA; Tony Dinsmore and wife Charlotte Dinsmore, Alpharetta, GA; nieces, nephews, and extended family. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday at First Baptist Church Alpharetta. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
