James Rogers Powell age 67 of Dawsonville passed away on December 1, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Garland and Beverly Rogers Powell; father-in-law, Carl Bergman, Jr. sister-in-law, Debbie Green and nephew, Jesse. James is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Powell; son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and April; grandchildren, Henry and Adele; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Monica Powell; mother-in-law, Barbara Bergman; brother-in-law, Ray Green; sister-in-law, Lynda and Allan Hoheisel; niece, Christina and Preston; nephews, Matthew and Brittany and Jimmy Lee and Brooke; great-nieces, Raven, Charli, Brianne, Adalyn and Li; great-nephews, Clayton, Aiden, TJ, Oliver, Jospeh and Christopher. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 12pm at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Milton Fields.
