Janice Allen Cox, age 75 of Roswell, GA passed away June 4, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Frank Cox, and her parents Mary Kanell Allen and Jack N. Allen. Janice went peacefully in her sleep just two weeks after losing the love of her life.

Janice was a graduate of Milton High School and attended Georgia State College. She was a lifetime member of the Roswell Women's Club and served as a faithful advocate for children in numerous roles. She was the Co-President of Crabapple Middle School PTA; President, Second Vice President, Treasurer, and Board Member of the Georgia PTA; and served on the National PTA Board on the Early Childhood Committee.

She was a devoted wife, mother, friend, and member of Crabapple First Baptist Church. She and Frank met at Crabapple while serving in the youth ministry in the early 1960s. For over 20 years, Janice could be found on Sunday mornings in the nursery caring for the babies of Crabapple. Janice was a devout Christian and loved the Lord. Her children and grandchildren will remember her as gentle, loving, and faithful, always caring for others.

Janice is survived by her son, Stephen Brent Cox and daughter-in-law, Stephanie; daughter, Stefanie Cox Hulsey and son-in-law, Matt Hulsey; and Grandchildren, Leyton and Carson Hulsey. She is also survived by her sister, Teresa Hoffman and her family.

Visitation will be at the Northside Chapel Funeral Directors on Wednesday,June 7, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held in the Northside Chapel Funeral Directors chapel on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 10:00 AM with Reverend Jerry Dockery officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell.
