Jean Porter Estes passed away peacefully on April, 5 2025, at the age of 88 in Gainesville, GA surrounded by the love of her family. Jean was born on November 28, 1936 to parents Lloyd and Millie Mae (Edmondson) Porter in Roswell, GA. She married the love of her life, Eugene, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories with. Together, they created a life filled with love and laughter.

Jean is survived by her loving husband, Eugene T. Estes; her daughter, Amy Jo Estes; grandchildren, Patrick (Maria) and Quinton Overbey; great-grandchildren, Emily and Noah Overbey; brother, Everett Porter; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A funeral service commemorating Jean's life will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 1:00pm, at Northside Chapel in Roswell, GA. The Estes family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 12-8pm at the funeral home. The family will also have visitation on Thursday from 10-1pm before the service.

Interment will follow the funeral service at Green Lawn Cemetery & Mausoleum in Roswell, GA.
