Jeanette Soltero Konicki of Roswell, GA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 2, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Francis J. Konicki and the loving mother of Jake and Alaina Konicki. Jeanette graduated from Voorhees High School in NJ and went on to Drexel University in Philadelphia to study fashion design. During her freshman year at Drexel University, she met the love of her life, Frank. In her senior year, she was the recipient of the Nesbitt Prize for Outstanding Design for her "Picasso" theme fashion collection. Jeanette enjoyed a stellar career working in the fashion industry and held positions in New York, Philadelphia, Minneapolis and finally in Atlanta, GA with Carters. Jeanette was a creative spirit, always finding joy in creating art. She nurtured her love for eclectic art, filling her home with unique pieces she made or acquired. In recent years, she developed a passion for ceramics. She also enjoyed traveling, spending time at the Jersey Shore and putting together complex puzzles. But her greatest joy was being with her family. Jeanette is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Frank Konicki; her children, Jake and Alaina Konicki; parents, Richard and Anna (Mach) Soltero; sister, Michelle (Soltero) Higgin; 2 nephews and a host of extended family and friends. A celebration of life service for Jeanette will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at noon at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors. The service will be livestreamed via the media tab on Jeanette's tribute page. The family will receive friends one hour (11:00 am ET) prior to the service . Jeanette's vibrant presence and artistic talent will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
