Jennifer E. Tatum Fredette, age 36, of Alpharetta, GA passed peacefully September 30th, 2023 from pneumonia and medical complications she endured from birth. She was the only child of Ruth Anne Tatum-Brumley (deceased) and Philip Kulp. Jenna graduated from Milton H.S. Class of 2005 and briefly attended Gwinnett Tech and Paul Mitchell The School Esani.
Jenna is survived by her soul mate and loving husband, Todd Fredette; son, Evan; dad, Phil Kulp; uncle, Ivan and (Billie Jean) Tatum; cousins, Leslie Stewart, Lee Tatum, Terrie (Ken) Pierson, Eric (Leana) Tatum, and Michelle (Jeff) Himes; step brother, Jeff Brumley; and sister, Angie.
Jenna's educational heritage originated with her grandfather, James Roosevelt Tatum, during the thirty's. He became superintendent of schools in Dawson County and was instrumental in getting the first school accredited and built in Dawsonville, GA.
Jenna is remembered as a deeply caring force for others, a sharp sense of humor and love of animals. She had a fondness for flowers and long time friends going back to grade school, high school, local Girl Scouts and St Martin's. Her notable favorite holiday was Halloween and the macabre in defiance of her medical condition. She achieved much in her short life- wife, Army wife, mother and homemaker.
Last rites were performed September 28th, 2023 by Reverend Monica Mainwaring of St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church .
Family will receive friends at Northside Chapel, 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell, GA 30075 on Thursday, October 5th from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock.
A future celebration of life will be announced.
