Joann Ellen Vlahiotis of Roswell, GA, born January 9, 1985, went to be with the Lord on March 3rd 2023 at the age of 38. She attended the Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church of Marietta and put smiles on faces as she participated in traditional Greek dance with her friends and family. She is preceded in death by her Paternal Grandparents Dionysios & Giovana Vlahiotis, Maternal Grandfather Dionysios Poulezios & Uncle Dimitri Vlahiotis. She is survived by her Maternal Grandmother Eleni Poulezios "Yia Yia", Parents John & Sofia Vlahiotis, Brother Danny and his wife Chelsie Vlahiotis, Godchildren Tyler Johnson & Sophia Bell and a large extended family including Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nephews, Nieces and every other heart she touched spanning across multiple continents.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 from 6-8, with a Trisagion Service at 7 p.m. The address for the Northside Chapel funeral home is 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell, GA 3007. Funeral services will held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 11 a.m. The address of the Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church is 3431 Trickum Road, Marietta, GA 3006. Once the funeral is concluded, the interment will take place at 12:30 p.m. The Green Lawn Cemetery's address is 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076. After being laid to rest, a Makaria (feast after the burial) and celebration of life will begin back at the Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church.
