Mr. John Henry Jackson Jr. , age 60, of Gainesville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023.
John was born on November 27, 1962 in Duluth, Georgia, the son to the late John Jackson and Essie Gertrude Dodd.
John moved to Cumming, Georgia as a young adult, where he married the love of his life, Teresa Louise Jackson. The marriage was blessed with five children, John, Chris, James, Jamie and Timothy.
Teresa and John loved each other more than life for 39 years and enjoyed sharing precious moments with loved ones and adventures together.
He had a love for fishing, football, firearms and anything with an engine.
A natural born leader throughout his career of construction, who showed respect and compassion to all he encountered.
John had a knack for connecting with people and he touched many lives. He knew how to pool resources and apply them to help people. We always called these his white rabbits. His influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him.
John is preceded in death by his parents, John Henry Jackson Sr and Essie Gertrude Dodd Jackson. He is survived by his ,loving wife: Teresa Jackson of Gainesville Georgia; Sons: John Henry Jackson III, Christopher Brock Jackson, James Dexter Jackson, Timothy Ryan Jackson; Daughter: Jamie Clairissa Bonner; Son in Law: Reggie John Bonner Jr; Daughter-In Laws: Jessica Nicole Jackson and Tiffany Leanne Jackson; Grandchildren: Reggie John Bonner III, Jaxson Beau Bonner, Landon Wylie Jackson, Jaiden Nicole Murphy, Juliana Rose Jackson, Ava Nicole Williams, Aiden James Williams, and Ansley Paige Williams.
