Kelli Elaine Rogers age 61 of Roswell, GA passed away peacefully at her home on July 6, 2023
Kelli graduated from Traverse City High School and then went on to get a degree in Criminology from Ferris State in Big Rapids, MI. She then went to obtain a degree in nursing from South Union State College in Opelika, AL. Kelli was active in the PTA at both Roswell North Elementary School and Crabapple Middle School in Roswell, GA. She was a member of St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church.
Kelli loved to travel and go to the beach and this year went to Key West and a Caribbean cruise with her husband Tom. One of her favorite things to do was to take her little dog Nala up to Rock N Taco on Friday and Saturday nights and meet old and new friends.
She was preceded in death by her Father Richard Scussel and her Mother-in-Law Ann Rogers.
Kelli is survived by her husband Tom Rogers, her two sons Tommie and Kyle Rogers. Her mother Alice Scussel two brothers Randy and Rick Scussel, her sister Kyle Roberts. Her brother and sister in laws Ed Rogers, Judie Tokairn, Jack Rogers and Ellen Wagner. Her nephews and nieces Paige Scussel, Clark Scussel, Rachel Scussel, Elizabeth McDermott, Brady Wagner, Brett and Shawn Tokairn, Hannah and Steven Rogers. Great nieces and nephews Poppy and Oak Glover, AnnaLee Grace. Cousins and aunts Teresa Leonard, Sister Mary Rogers, Jean Foster.
In lieu of flowers, Kelli was a huge animal lover. She took in many rescue dogs and cats. Please donate to the Atlanta Humane Society.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 12PM in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:30 until the time of service at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors, Roswell, GA.
