Kendall Latrell Bowen, 79, of Milton, Georgia formerly of Roswell, Georgia, passed away December 11, 2025, after a brief illness. He was born July 8,1946, he grew up in Roswell, Georgia and was a graduate of Roswell High School Class of 1964.
He was the son of the late Wedrell (W.L.) and Ola Miller Bowen. He was preceded in death by his son, Travis Latrell Bowen. He is survived by his sisters, Yolanda (Bob) Pound, Deborah (Craig) Harple, Terena (Clive) Stone, Rhonda (Rob) Parrott and brother Stanley (Debbie) Bowen; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kendall proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1965 - 1971, where he was one of the first airmen at Dobbins AFB to be selected to work with computers in the Human Resource Department. After serving his country, he had successful careers in Commercial Insurance, Real Estate, and Mortgage Banking. He also was a Master Barber since high school, working in numerous shops in addition to owning a barber shop in the Atlanta area. In 1996 he founded Bowen Group, Inc to continue working part time.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and was fortunate to travel the world. One of his favorite trips was when he and his son camped during a summer for six weeks across Alaska. He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church, Roswell, GA. He had an unwavering faith and belief in Christ which carried him through the heartbreak of losing his only son 12 years ago and most recently his health challenges.
The family will receive friends and family on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Northside Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 16, 2025 also at Northside Chapel with Rev. Brian Peterson officiating. A private family interment will follow at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery, Roswell, GA.
