Larry Paul Delarm, age 75, of Roswell, GA, and Amsterdam, NY, passed away on November 10, 2024.

Larry was born in Amsterdam, NY, and graduated from Wilbur H. Lynch High School with the Class of 1967. He served in the United States Air Force as a Sergeant from October 4, 1968, until September 23, 1972, completing four years of dedicated service to his country.

Larry was a loyal friend, a gracious host, and a storyteller with a charismatic charm and "Delarm blue eyes" that could light up a room. He had a lifelong passion for history, especially researching his family's roots and restoring a century-old mansion. Larry often enjoyed engaging in a spirited political debate or lively conversation with friends—a testament to his "skilled conversationalist" nature. Those close to him recall fondly how he was always there for them, generous, thoughtful, and gentlemanly in every way.

Larry had an impeccable sense of style, often compared to a young Clark Gable, and a sense of humor and warmth that endeared him to many. He believed in a strong work ethic and embodied values that resonated deeply with those who knew him. He was a loving father and grandfather, a talented cook, and a steadfast friend, whose presence brought joy to any gathering.

Larry's life was filled with connections—of friendship, family, and love—and he encouraged others to enjoy life, gathering often with friends around the pool or over a meal. He lived with a big heart, a dedication to hard work, and a readiness to help whenever needed. His memory will live on in the many lives he touched

Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Lee Delarm; his father, Roy Delarm, Sr.; his mother, Dorothy Delarm; and his brother, Daniel Delarm.
Survivors include his son, Chris Delarm, and his wife, Urvi Ruparelia; his beloved grandchildren, Morgan, Devon, and Liya Delarm; his sister, Sandra Constantine and her husband Anthony; his brother, Roy Delarm, Jr. and his wife Sandra; his uncle, Wilson Hess; nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 3pm at Northside Chapel, 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell, GA 30075. Family will be receiving friends for visitation at 2pm prior to the service.

A Service of Remembrance will additionally take place on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 12pm at the Rose & Hughes Funeral Home, 200 Church Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010. A calling hour will precede the service beginning at 11am at the funeral home.

Burial with military honors will take place in Hagaman Mills Cemetery, Hagaman, NY.
