Laura Neel Logan, 53, of Roswell, GA passed away on May 2nd, 2023. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.

Laura grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana and studied at the Academy of Sacred Heart and Louisiana State University (LSU). At LSU, Laura met the love of her life, Jonathan. The two have two children together, a daughter, Alex, and son, Jake. She loved and cherished time with her family and she will be forever missed.

Laura was a restaurant manager, where she was passionate that food was best served with good conversation. She touched many lives as a fixture of the neighborhood. She loved deeply, and she was deeply loved in return. She was always there to celebrate the highest life moments and offer empathy in the lowest.

Laura loved a good book, a deep laugh, dogs, and her home city of New Orleans. Her crawfish etouffee was second to none. She always challenged herself to see the good in the bad, reminding us all to see the glass as "half full".

Laura is survived by her husband, Jonathan Logan; daughter Alex Pofahl and husband Andrew; son Jacob Logan; mother Susan Neel; and brother Billy Neel. She is preceded in death by her father, William "Bill" Neel.

A private memorial service for the family will be held on Tuesday, May 9th, 2023.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for memorial contributions to be made to the Atlanta Humane Society, or to a charity of one's choosing.
