Leann Carolyn Burquist of Roswell, GA went home to be with her lord and savior on January 27th, 2025. She was surrounded by her family.

Leann was born on February 28th, 1935, in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended and graduated from Omaha Baptist Bible College in Omaha, Nebraska in 1957. Following graduation, she moved to Chicago, IL and went to work for Eastern Airlines. While working at Eastern she met the love of her life, Bob. Following their wedding January 16th, 1965, Leann became a homemaker and stay at home mom to daughters Kimberly, Tracy and Holly.

Leann is preceded in death by her mother and father, Ray and Ester Engle, husband Robert Burquist, granddaughter Abigail and grandson Paul. She is survived by daughters, Kimberly (Chris) Ellis, Tracy (Tom) Meritt and Holly (Jade) Pethel; grandchildren Robert (Reanna), Joey (Kayla), Cody, Jessica (Nick), Cole, Sam, Riley and Emma; great grandchildren Rylan, Brendon, Charlie, Raleigh, Myleigh, Haddon, Lainey and Anderson.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 30th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Northside Chapel located at 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell, GA 30075. Leann will be laid to rest on Friday, January 31st in a private service for family.
