Marc Caruso, of Alpharetta, Georgia passed away April 17, 2023 at the age of 42. Marc was born on October 11, 1980 in Livingston, New Jersey, the son to the late Fred and Lillian Caruso.
Raised in New Jersey, Marc attended Hanover Park High School (Class of 1999) and Rutgers University (Class of 2003). He settled in the Atlanta area in 2016 where he met the love of his life, his wife Manal. They married in 2020 and were blessed with a son, Jude, and another son who will enter this world in September.
An avid reader and forever student, Marc could engage in conversation in topics ranging from economics to world history to sports. He loved to learn, the outdoors, cooking, traveling, and was known for his rapidly improving golf game.
More than anything, Marc treasured his wife and his son. On any given day, you could find him doting over Manal, on the floor playing with Jude or driving to the farmer's market to buy him his favorite empanada. He valued the quiet moments – the three of them watching a movie on the couch or taking a walk in the park.
Marc deeply touched everyone he met with his profound kindness, generosity, sensitivity and patience. He was the calm in the storm. Marc believed life should be lived to the fullest, and that is what he did. He will inspire us for the rest of our lives.
Beyond his immediate family, Marc is survived by his brother in law Jamal Chehimi, wife Danielle and their children Jennah, Julianna and Dean; his brother in laws Jalal and Belal Chehimi; his parents in law, Khaled and Sahar Chehimi; his brother Jeff Caruso, wife Lily and their children Oksana and Santiago; his beloved cousins Alicia Salerno and Michael Scutari; his maternal Aunt Mary and Uncle Louis; and paternal Aunt Roz and Uncle Bob and their children Jenn and Chris.
