Marcy was born 1941 in Salem, Ohio to Letha and Orein Naragon. She grew up in Salem and graduated from Salem High School. She later graduated from Kent State University where she was a member of Alpha Xi Delta
She met her husband Jerry in 1961 and they married in 1963 in Salem. After a couple of earlier moves, they relocated to Roswell in 1968 and raised their family there. She was a long-time member of Roswell United Methodist Church.
After their children were older, she worked for a number of years as a teacher's assistant at Mountain Park Elementary School in Roswell.
Marcy loved to spend time with family and friends, take care of her plants and shop in her favorite stores.
She leaves her husband of 62 years Jerry, son John of New Braunfels, Tex., daughter Beth Montalbano and her husband Paul of Marietta, granddaughters Kara Jenkins and her husband Brandon of New Braunfels, Kathryn Rogers and her husband Daulton of Madison Ga., and Emily Backus of Madison, and great grandchildren Olivia and Jett Jenkins of New Braunfels, and brother Fred Naragon and his wife Beverly of Salem.
A service will be held in the Chapel of Roswell United Methodist Church for family and friends on Wednesday, June 18th at 11AM. The family will recevie friends 30 minutes prior to the service in the parlor at the church. Any donation may be made to the Roswell United Methodist Church Foundation, 814 Mimosa Blvd., Roswell 30075
