Margaret Stella (Hardy) Pierce, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025 surrounded by the love of her family. Born on December 28, 1940, Margaret (also known as Marge) grew up in Keyport, New Jersey. She married and moved south eventually settling in Alpharetta, Georgia where she resided for over 65 years. She spent the majority of her life working in the field of electronics until she transitioned to a full time "nanny" for three of her four grandchildren.
Marge was a ray of sunshine in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. With a positive outlook and a light-hearted sense of humor, she was kind and caring and always happy to lend a helping hand, offer words of wisdom, and listen intently as she enjoyed connecting with others. She was always supporting and encouraging her children and grandchildren, and especially took advantage of every opportunity to cheer on her grandchildren during their various sports, activities, academic pursuits, and life. Her true joy in life and lasting legacy are her four grandchildren. Her legacy of love, faith, and compassion for others will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
She is survived by her two children; Jeffery Allen Pierce (Carla) of Powder Springs, GA and Debbie Pierce Peebles (Bush) of Milton, GA and four grandchildren; Jason Pierce, Allie Peebles, Win Peebles, and Caroline Peebles.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday April 13, 2025 at Northside Chapel in Roswell, GA with a reception immediately following.
Marge's cremains will be interred at a later date at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Roswell, GA in a private family service.
