Margaret Lloyd Vorreiter "Lodie", 63 passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024. Born December 10, 1960 on Wheelus Air Base, Tripoli, Libya to parents Leon and Claire Porter. As an Air Force brat, she and her family moved many times in her younger years but Oklahoma would always hold the biggest place in her heart. OKC is where she spent the majority of her youth and where she eventually met the love of her life, her "Buttercup" Ed.
Lodie loved shopping, thrifting, and finding a good deal. There wasn't a Goodwill in the area she didn't know. An avid, borderline obnoxious Oklahoma Sooner football fan; you could always count on her yelling/cheering (loudly) at the TV during a game, especially against their rival team Texas Longhorns.
"Grammy" was blessed with five grand babies whom she loved dearly: Ian, Elle, Zoey, SamE, and Hazel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her identical twin Eleanor Deigon Kubat "Dede", and younger brother Jason Brice Porter.
She is survived by her husband Edsel Leon Vorreiter Jr, her son Edsel Leon Vorreiter III and wife Mary, her son Philip Neal Vorreiter and wife Sarah, her daughter Emily Ann Frazeur and husband Joel, her oldest brother William Gaither Porter and wife Cyndie, niece Claire Leigh Ann Porter, and brother-in-law Danny Ray Kubat.

Lodie had a fierce love for and loyalty to her family that will never be forgotten.
