Born in Atlanta 73 years ago, Ree lived in Donalsonville, Ga from 1963-2004, where she and husband Roy moved to pastor the First Presbyterian Church and raise their family of three children (Debbie, Tommy, and Ann). During those 41 years, she taught Bible School, children's choir, and Sunday School, played lots of bridge and golf, and endured the loss of her husband and son while raising her two daughters. Despite these and other personal tragedies, she had an infectious laugh, a strong will, and a deep faith in God. Even during her worst moments, Marie Lewis believed.

Missing her home in Donalsonville, Ree was glad to have more time with her family and friends in Atlanta during the past six years. Just this Thanksgiving she reminisced about the people and love in her life.

As she joins Roy and Tommy and all the saints in heaven, she is missed and celebrated by Ann and Estee, Debbie and Dan, granddaughters Samantha and Joy, and her caregivers at Heather House.
