Mary Kathleen Christy Farley, age 76 of Roswell passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 13, 2026. Kathy was a proud Atlantan, born at Crawford W. Long hospital on September 12, 1949 to loving parents Wiliam Henry and Miriam Dorothy Stephens Christy. She graduated from Towers High School and Georgia Southern College. She retired from King & Spalding, LLC as a facilities Manager. Kathy loved her friend, Myra, El Porton and North Fulton Charities in that order. She was especially fond of her gold fish, her books and her needlework. She was a big "starter but not much of a finisher."
Kathy is survived by her great neighbors and loving family, a sister, Dawn Burch and husband, Scott; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Denise Farley; sister of her heart, Sallie F. Weatherford; special cousin Patsy Cross, and multiple nieces and nephews a cousin that meant a great deal to her.
She was preceded in death by her wonderful, patient and encouraging husband of 53 years, William Downs Farley, Jr. He gave her a great life and Kathy always stated that she had way more than she ever expected.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 2pm in the funeral home chapel. The family will recevie friends one hour prior to the service.
