Maryann Dunphy, 94, of Roswell, Georgia, passed away on August 12, 2026, in Roswell, Georgia.
Maryann was a member of First United Methodist Church of Dallas and a graduate of Dallas High School. She proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. After her retirement, Maryann enjoyed traveling and making memories through her journeys.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John J. Dunphy; her mother, Mary B. Ellis; and her father, William P. Ellis.
Maryann is survived by her son, Kevin (Susan) Dunphy; her daughter, Karen E. Gulledge; her grandsons, John (Sarah) Gulledge and Perry (Lauren) Gulledge; and her six great-grandchildren, Jack Gulledge, Sam Gulledge, Daphne Gulledge, Reese Gulledge, Molly Gulledge, and Ava Kate Gulledge.
Maryann will be laid to rest at Marietta National Cemetery in a private family service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Paulding County Animal Shelter.
