Mrs. Mildred Cannon Diggs, age 92, of Roswell, Georgia, passed away on May 25, 2024. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jack Thomas Diggs. Mildred and Jack had been married for 65 years. Mildred is also preceded in death by parents Orville and Daisy Cannon, 3 sisters and 4 brothers. She is survived by her sister Minnie L. Vermillion, sister Eddie Ruth Hinton, sister Janice Burton, sister-in-law Patricia Cannon, brother-in-law Denny Hinton, and nieces and nephews.

Mildred enjoyed using her gift of ministry in blessing others. She enjoyed cooking for family, her pastors and their staff. She faithfully served her church for 45 years. Many of those years she served on preparing the Lord's Supper for church services. In her late 80s, she was serving the church in preparing dinners for Wednesday night services.

There will be a visitation on Wednesday, May 29,2024, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Northside Chapel Funeral Home. Her life celebration service will be held after the viewing at 12:00 pm at Northside Chapel Funeral Home. On Friday, May 31, 2024 at 10:00 am Mildred's interment will be at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell.

In lieu of flowers , the family requests donations be made in memory of Mildred C. Diggs to Shriners Children Hospital of Atlanta or your local church.
