Mona G. Taylor, born on August 14, 1950, passed away peacefully with her family at her side, on December 27, 2024, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. She was the beloved daughter of Homer and Maryann Gladden.
Mona is lovingly remembered by her sister, Debbie Glover Neuman; her children, Christy (James) Vallance and Shane (April) Taylor; her cherished grandchildren, Kelsey (CJ) Green, Madison (Sean) Riordan, Makenzie Taylor, Sarah (Kieran) Anderson, and Katie Vallance; and her great-grandchildren, Memphis, Treis, Waylon, and Addie. Her family was the center of her life, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to their happiness and well-being.
Mona found joy in gardening and yard work in her earlier years and she had a gift for creating beautiful flower arrangements and wreaths which she often gifted to friends and family. She had a deep love for the beach and delighted in collecting seashells and flamingo-themed novelties that reflected her vibrant spirit. A woman of faith, Mona loved Jesus deeply and spent many years studying the Bible and His word.
Her warmth, creativity, and unwavering devotion to her loved ones will be dearly missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she held close and may God rest her soul.
Services will be held at Northside Chapel in Roswell on January 19th at 12pm. Her family will receive friends for one hour before the service. Her final resting place will be at Milton Fields Cemetery, following the funeral service.
