Morgan Griffin, 41, of Marietta, GA died July 26, 2023. Morgan was born on August 9, 1981 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He is survived by his father, Walton Griffin, his sister, Sara Fetterman, and his "adopted" nieces Samantha and Peyton Pace. Morgan was a National Kata Karate Champion as a junior, and he loved Japanese culture and martial arts. Morgan attended Roswell High School before attending Berry College and Georgia State University in Atlanta. He studied film in college and began filming weddings after leaving Georgia State. Throughout his life, he worked as a bartender, in retail, as an IT specialist, helping his mother in equine therapy, and finally found his home at Home Depot. He loved everything Disney and was always the grand champion at Disney Trivia. Morgan had a passion for gaming and loved family game nights, particularly the competition for the annual Grifoni Cup. He will be greatly missed. Visitation is at Northside Chapel, 12050 Crabapple Rd, Roswell, GA 30075 on Monday, July 31 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm, with the service immediately following at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
