Myrna Jo (Stover) Taylor, age 83 of Lilburn, passed away on February 29, 2024. Myrna was an extraordinarily kind and loving person; she treasured every moment spent with her family and friends. She showed unconditional love and unending generosity to anyone she met. Myrna would go out of her way to help others and she found great joy in the happiness of those she loved.
She was a wonderful mother who enjoyed spending time with her family and always looked forward to supporting her grandchildren and great grandchildren in their various activities. She was an endearing caregiver to any animal that found her doorstep and could not bear to hurt even a fly. Myrna was a caring friend and spent time every day checking in with a phone call to all that she loved. She made sure to make everyone feel special on their birthday with a personal call, that would not be complete without a song.
Myrna's generous spirit is imprinted on the hearts and minds of those who knew her. Her unwavering love, kindness, and devotion to her family will always be remembered and cherished. She will forever be loved 'a bushel and a peck, and a hug around the neck.'
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Taylor Sr. She is survived by her son, Bobby Ray Taylor Jr.; three daughters Robin Poole (Jeff), Allison Sheldon (Ken) and Debbie Brownlee (Mark); eight grandchildren, Kimberly Ciccaglione (Bryan), Kris Poole (Nikki), Natalie Taylor (Fiancé J.T.), Kyle Poole (Shelby), Alexis Williams, Logan Brownlee, Hailey Sheldon and Maegan Brownlee and three great-grandchildren, Jaxson & Ryleigh Ciccaglione and Claire Poole.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024 at 11AM at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:30 to 5PM at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in memory of Myrna Taylor at Union Primitive Baptist Church, 355 Cox Road, Roswell, GA 30075
