Myron Engebretson, age 70, of Sandy Springs, GA passed away on January 16, 2023.
Myron received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Minnesota Morris and a Master's Degree from the University of Minnesota. In 2010, he was inducted into the Minnesota Morris Football Hall of Fame and was a Minnesota State champion arm wrestler. After college, he was a lifelong salesman and entrepreneur. He met his wife Maureen while attending the University of Minnesota. They moved to Chicago where they adopted two children before moving to Atlanta in 1989 where he lived until his death. He attended the Catholic Church of St. Ann in Marietta.
Myron is survived by Maureen Leary; his daughter, Sarah Carzoli (Michael); his son, Erik Engebretson (Lauren); and his grandchildren, Eadlyn, Carter, Emry, and Charlotte
A memorial mass honoring Myron's life will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Catholic Church of St. Ann.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Saint Anns chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
