Obituary

Newton Daniel "N.D." Brumbeloe, 86, passed away peacefully at home on August 5, 2026, with his loving wife, Saundra, by his side.

Born on October 19, 1939, in Roanoke, Alabama, N.D. graduated from West Point High School, married his high school sweetheart and earned a business degree from LaGrange College. Determined to provide for his young family, he worked night shifts at a local factory while attending college: a reflection of the strong work ethic and perseverance that defined his life.

N.D. shared an extraordinary love story with his beloved wife, Saundra. Married for 68 years, they built a life rooted in faith, devotion, and unconditional love. Together they raised their two children, Todd Brumbeloe (Nhu) and Beth Yglesias (Mike), in Roswell and Alpharetta, Georgia, creating a home filled with faith, love, encouragement, laughter, and lasting memories.

N.D. built a successful career as an Allstate insurance agent, earning the trust of countless clients through his integrity and genuine care for others. He also believed in giving back to his community, volunteering through various organizations on a variety of local service projects as well as serving as a deacon at Roswell First Baptist Church.

One of N.D.'s greatest joys was being "Daddy D" to his grandchildren, Dylan Wyatt-Usher (Caroline) and Lauren Usher (Ethan). He was an involved, proud, and loving grandfather who delighted in their lives and celebrated each of their accomplishments. Memories were made and life lessons taught while working alongside Daddy D in his garden.

When he wasn't spending time with family or serving at church, N.D. enjoyed visiting Callaway Gardens, spending time at the beach, sharing vegetables from his garden, and taking drives in his favorite Toyota Tundra. He found purpose in hard work, caring for his home, and helping others whenever he could. He had a remarkable gift for making everyone he met feel valued and welcomed.
N.D. was preceded in death by his parents, Fraser and Myrtie Brumbeloe, and his brother, Charles Brumbeloe.

N.D.'s legacy is one of unwavering faith, quiet strength, humility, and unconditional love. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him, but they find comfort in the promise that he is now at peace in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

His family will receive friends at Northside Chapel, 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell, GA 30075, on Thursday, August 13, 2026 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.
