Norman Philip Halden, 77, of Johns Creek passed away on 10th October 2025. Norman or "Philip" as he was called by many was born in Newcastle-under-Lyme, England. He lived around the world eventually settling in Georgia. He worked for many years as a chemical engineer and was well respected in the cement industry. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dolores Halden, in 2024 and cherished daughter, Lona Halden, in 2007. He is survived by his children Elizabeth Gordon and her husband Benjamin Gordon and their daughter Ophelia of Atlanta, Judith Claudett and partner Andrew Pickles of Baildon, England and Ivan Claudett and his wife Suzanne Claudett and their children Lucas and Ruben of Kettering, England.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 20th, 2025 at 11am with a Viewing immediately preceding at 10am at Johns Creek Baptist Church, in Johns Creek. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens in Cumming.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the Halden Residence in Johns Creek on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 2pm. The family invite friends and family to join together to share memories of Philip over homecooked food and drinks as Philip would have wanted.
