Otis Franklin "Piper" Burger passed away Monday, September 11, 2023 at the age of 85 with family by his side. He was born 2-25-1938, was a native of Roswell, Georgia and graduated Roswell High School in the class of 1957. He retired from Georgia Power Company after 40 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and watching his Georgia Bulldogs football team. Franklin was preceded in death by his wife Jimmie Sue Burger and daughter Pamela Sue Burger. He is survived by his brother JD Burger and son Franklin Scott Burger. In lieu of flowers, please make a charitable contribution to your local animal shelter in his name; as he truly loved his pets. He was an outstanding father and husband, and will be missed greatly by all who's life he touched. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 11AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4-7PM at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors.
