Richard Lee Hester of Roswell, Georgia has gone to be with His Lord on March 12th, 2024 at the age of 81. On December 5th, 1942, Dick was born to Clinton Lee Hester and Ruby Aline (Sessoms) Hester.
Dick studied Bible at Bob Jones University where he met his wife, Carol Ann (Ferguson) Hester, and they had three children, Randy (Melody) Wayne Hester, Jamie (John) Lynn Zimmer, and Leanne (Nicholas) Aline Bell, and seven grandchildren, Mitchell and Sophie Hester, Aline, Ashley, and Emma Zimmer, and Addie and Lily Bell.
He served as pastor of Lebanon Baptist Church in Roswell for 34 years, faithfully delivering the Word of God, after which he joined Biblical Ministries Worldwide as Pastor to Missionaries, encouraging missionaries around the world. Dick will be well remembered by many for his devotion to the Lord, compassionate shepherding, and fervent prayer.
