Patricia (Pat) Hoover Bollinger, age 89, of Roswell, Georgia passed away on March 4, 2024. Pat was born on February 24,1935 in Washington D.C.
Pat grew up in Charlotte, N.C. with four sisters, Peggy, Penny, Pamela, and Perrie. She graduated from Central High School. She met the love of her life, Fred Bollinger of Charlotte, N.C., and they were married in 1957.
Pat was a stay-at-home mom and raised two boys, Curt (married to Dawn) and Doug (married to Angie), while Fred was a pilot for Eastern Airlines.
Pat enjoyed running, reading, and volunteering for various organizations. She was an active member of The First Baptist Church of Roswell where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school to teenage girls. If you were an early riser, you could often see her and Fred running around the track at the old Roswell High School.
Pat loved her six grandchildren, Rachel, Jacob, Seth, Kendall, Matthew, and Garrett immensely.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; her son, Doug; and her sisters, Peggy and Perrie.
A private service will be held at Georgia National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations or gifts can be made to the music ministry of The First Baptist Church of Roswell, GA.
