Paul Damian Miller, age 57 of Woodstock, GA, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026, with his wife Beverly by his side holding his hand.

Paul was born at Selfridge Air Force Base in Michigan and spent his childhood growing up around the world as the son of an Air Force father. He lived in many different places including, England, Belgium, Germany, as well asstateside including Nebraska, Florida, and Michigan.

Following in his father’s footsteps, he joined and spent 6 years in the Air Force stationed in North Dakota, Guam, and Michigan.

He met his wife Beverly through an AOL friends chat room in 1998. It was the quote on his profile from the Robert Frost Poem “The Road Not Taken” that brought them together. As Paul puts it, “She picked me up in a chat room.” They were able to travel to see the home of Robert Frost during their time together and they lived their lives with those words in mind.

He moved to Georgia, soon followed by Beverly in 1998. They were married on October 14, 2000. He lived in Woodstock with his wife and two four-legged children, Luna Belle and Odie.

Paul was a 911 Emergency Communications Supervisor for the City of Alpharetta, GA for the past 20 years. He had the gift of helping those in need, the honor of helping deliver two babies, as well as saving lives and assisting countless people in every way imaginable.

Outside of work, Paul was an avid reader who belonged to the Canton, GA chapter of the “Tough Guy Book Club” who’s members and chapters expand throughout the world. Their vision was “We’re about reading books, and putting real decent conversations back in the pub.” He also loved to attend concerts of all musical genres from Harry Connick, Jr. to Def Leppard and many in between. Traveling was also a passion that he and Beverly loved to do, especially going on cruises to different countries in the Caribbean.

Above all, most important to Paul was the people he loved, his wife, family and friends. His commitment to his career in helping those in the most difficult moments in their lives. To his community and neighbors. He was the president of his Community’s HOA with the goal of making the neighborhood the best it could beencouraging community spirit and hopes for not only neighbors, but friends, of which there were a multitude. He was and will always be known as the quiet guy with the sharp wit and kindness toward everyone he met. If you met Paul, you knew he was a genuine and trueperson who you wanted to befriend.

Paul is survived, will be remembered and celebrated by his wife Beverly, his two dachshunds, Luna Belle (daddy’s girl) and Odie, who are still waiting for him. His parents John (Jack) and Elizabeth (Mary) Miller, his two brothers, Michael (Mick) Miller and Jason (Janine) Miller. His Mother-In-Law, Elizabeth (Betty) Vidra. Nieces and Nephews, Paul (Jamie) Clapp, Kaylie Clapp, Shanna Clapp, Nicholas Elmore, Elizabeth Miller, Gavin Miller, and Victoria Miller as well as extended families in both the states and England.

The visitation and service will be held at Northside Chapel, 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell, GA 30075.

The Miller Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 24th, 2026 from 1:00 PM - 3:00PM, with the service immediately following in the chapel, and a reception afterwards. The Service will be Live Streamed for those who are unable to attend in person.
