Peter Michael Oswald, age 80, of Alpharetta, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on July 5, 2025. Born and raised in New York, Peter graduated from Evander Childs High School and proudly served his country in the National Guard. Peter was a man of faith, attending St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church in Roswell, Georgia and was deeply devoted to his family.

Peter was preceded in death by his father, Philip Oswald; mother, Evelina Oswald; brother, Philip Oswald; sister, Evelyn Ronnau; and brother, James Oswald. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Oswald; daughters, Patricia Oswald and Jennifer Dean; son-in-law, Alex Dean; and grandchildren Joshua Hovde, Ian Hovde, Edward Dean, and George Dean, all of whom brought great joy and pride to his life.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Northside Chapel. A Funeral Mass for Peter will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 10:30am at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church, 11330 Woodstock Road, Roswell, Georgia 30075. A graveside service will follow at 12pm at Green Lawn Cemetery, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, Georgia 30076.
