Mr. Phillip R. Fenton, age 63, of Canton, Georgia passed away peacefully Sunday, July 13, 2025.
Phil was born on November 9, 1961 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the son of Ronnie and Virginia (Green) Fenton.
Phil attended Roswell High School, where he lettered in football and was nicknamed "Capt. Crazy". He graduated in 1980.
Phil's greatest interests were music and Georgia football. He enjoyed ministering for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
In January 2018, Phil suffered a stroke. He was loved and cared for at the Cherokee Center in Canton, Georgia where he resided for seven years until his passing.
Phil was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Virgina (Green) Fenton. He is survived by his father Ronnie Fenton, his brother Keith Fenton (Lynn), his sister Heather Fenton Weldon (Bobby), 4 nieces, 4 nephews, 2 great nieces, 1 great nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins and very dear friends.
The funeral service to honor the life of Phil Fenton will take place at Il o'clock in the morning on Tuesday July 22nd at Northside Chapel 12050 Crabapple Rd Roswell, Georgia 30075.
