Phillip (Phil) Wayne Marshall, age 81, went to heaven after a 3-month battle with cancer. The Lord took him on January 5th, and he is now at peace and will always be loved and missed.
Phil was born and raised in Greenville Alabama and graduated from Auburn University – War Eagle! He was a Lieutenant in the Army and a Veteran of the Vietnam War. Phil played tennis and golf and loved his close friends he played these sports with.
He is preceded in death by his father William, his mother Nellie, and his younger brother Johnny.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Pat, sons Bobby (Marilyn), Phillip (Kelley) two grandsons Bo (Sydney) and Braden, two sisters Sandra and Phyllis, and many other relatives. All will greatly miss him.
A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 2PM in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends from 1PM until the time of service at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors.
