Rachel Bartlett Randall, age 97, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2023 at her home in Woodstock, GA. Rachel married her husband, Herschel, in 1946 in Lavonia, GA. Herschel served in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea. After his discharge, they moved to Atlanta, GA and started their family.
Rachel spent several years working various jobs, including as a school bus driver for Fulton County, before attending cosmetology school and becoming a hairdresser. She served patrons out of her in-home hair salon for 38 years. She also enjoyed flowers, ceramics and other hobbies. She was a loving minister's wife, and she and her husband were charter members of Northside Baptist Church.
Rachel is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Herschel Randall; her parents; her two brothers; and her four sisters.
She is survived by her two daughters, Brenda Webb (Jack) and Jenny Fraser (Garry); her three grandchildren, Jeff Webb, Greg Webb and Kristen Anderson; her two step-grandchildren, Shannon Fraser and Scott Fraser; her 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Rachel's family will receive friends on Monday, April 24, 2023 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors in Roswell, GA. Her funeral service will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Tom Randall and Rev. Brian Rhodes will officiate. Interment will be at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, GA.
