Ralph Romanis (88), beloved husband, father, grandfather, an all around man sadly passed away at home surrounded by family on November 4th, 2024.

Born in Nairn, Scotland on February 9th, 1936 he attended The Royal High School in Edinburgh before serving four years in The Royal Air Force and attending Herriot Watt University with further study in later years at Atlanta Law School where he received a Juris Doctor degree in Law.

Ralph emigrated from Scotland in 1966 with Norma and Karen to join Lockheed as a C-54 Airborne Radar Engineer providing the opportunity to travel to 64 countries and eventually lead the team at the "skunk works" – the decision to locate in Atlanta being sealed with the offer of four tickets to The Masters! He was indeed an avid golfer and Founding member of Settindown Golf Club where he could be found playing regularly at least three days per week.

One of life's true characters, he was kind, caring, and very sociable bringing laughter to every occasion and will surely be long remembered for his story telling and hallmark "hehehe" chuckle..

A life well lived, he will be sadly missed and is survived by his beautiful wife, Norma, his daughter and son-in-law, Karen and John, his five grandchildren, Taylor, Kate, Colin, Ansley, and Luke.

We will celebrate Ralph's life on Sunday, November 17th from 2:00-5:00. A celebration of life will take place at their home at 14205 Old Course Drive, Roswell, 30075. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, https://t2t.org/ .
