Ms. Rebecca Welch Jackman, age 45, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024. Becca was born on April 17, 1979, daughter to Patricia and Larry Welch.
Becca grew up in Woodstock, Georgia with her parents and siblings.
She moved to Cartersville, Georgia in 2001, where she raised her two children, Mia and Jay. She always said her purpose in life was to be a mom, and she did just that, taking care of everyone around her, treating everyone with kindness and compassion.
She worked in the front office of several dental offices during her lifetime, including Dent1st, Cline Orthodontics, and Southern Family Dental Care, where she built lasting relationships with her work families, those of whom meant the absolute world to her.
Many people remember Becca by her hugs and infectious smile. She always made everyone's day a little brighter. She had a beautiful soul with a big personality that will forever hold a special place in the hearts of many people.
One of her favorite hobbies was crafts. She absolutely loved making things for others, anything under the sun that she thought might make other people happy, she loved giving.
Becca also enjoyed cooking, and many of her signature recipes, like her iconic mac'n'cheese or banana pudding, would be the first dish gone at gatherings.
Rebecca is survived by her parents: Patty and Larry Welch; children: Mia and Jay Jackman; sister Michelle Mezger (brother-in-law Guy Mezger; niece Rachael Mezger; Nephews Jake Hancock and Logan Mezger); and brother Alan Welch. As well as many extended family members and friends.
