He also served as a volunteer at Northside and St. Joseph's Hospitals for many years. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Babs, his daughter Lauren Schultheiss (Brian), his grandchildren, Owen Schultheiss (Nichole) and Kathryn Schultheiss, and his sister, Barb Poore.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 17 at 11:00am at Northside Chapel in Roswell. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am. Those wishing may make donations in his name to Mercy Care Atlanta or Emory Winship Cancer Institute.
