Richard Anthony Critelli age 76, of Woodstock, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in Roswell, Georgia. Mr. Critelli was born and raised in Queens, New York, Rick was a beloved husband and devoted father—a natural leader, impressive athlete, dependable friend, and man with a sharp business mind and an exceptional eye for style and design whose insights guided many.
He spent much of his professional life in the printing industry, where he advanced early to upper management positions. He later owned and operated his own company, Rollcraft Corp, before transitioning into a successful career as a Financial Wealth Advisor. Rick worked incredibly hard throughout his life and was deeply respected for his insight, professionalism, and integrity. People trusted him—not only with their finances, but with their thoughts, concerns, and decisions—because he listened carefully and always offered thoughtful, well-reasoned advice.
Rick had a true gift for conversation: witty and smooth, he was one of the best storytellers around—sharp, funny, and captivating.
Rick had a curious, adventurous spirit, always diving into new hobbies and experiences. He savored life's highlights—cheering at Braves playoff games, fly fishing in Snake River Canyon, enjoying a fine cigar with friends, browsing exquisite watches, eyeing the latest sports cars, or simply holding great conversations by the fire. Proud of his Italian and Irish roots, he treasured the family traditions and cherished Italian recipes that gathered loved ones around the table.
A one-time collegiate baseball player at Rider University who later became an avid Atlanta tennis champion, Rick loved staying active and competitive. He brought the same focus and determination to the court that he did to his work and relationships. That same dedication carried into his faith life: he led a loyal and committed group at the Catholic Men's group at St. Benedict Catholic Church, where he fostered deep discussions and debates on faith, philosophy, and life's challenges.
He is survived by his loving wife, Melanie Critelli; his children, Richard Anthony Critelli Jr., Kristen Shinners, and Michael Critelli, whom he shared with their mother, Pat Pietrowski; his stepdaughter, Garnette White; his beloved grandchildren; his younger sister, Susan Benvenuto; and his lifelong best friend, Gary Neuser.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Richard Critelli and Virginia Simonetti Critelli.
Rick will be remembered for his intelligence, humor, generosity, faith and the calm confidence he brought into every room. His legacy lives on in the family he loved deeply and the countless lives he touched through his wisdom and kindness.
A funeral Mass service will be held at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Johns Creek, Georgia, on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate a life well lived.
