Richard "Wayne" Karraker passed May 9, 2024. Born in Augusta GA on July 20, 1955 to Francis & Richard Karraker. Survived by his wife Barbara, his children Grace (Liam) & Ty, his sisters Marlo Heard & Renee Moore and his extended family Christine, Mike, Justin & Dylan Welker.

Wayne moved to Atlanta in 1966 - the same year as the Braves, and he became a lifelong fan ever since. He was a student of Northside High School's class of 1973. He had a passion for cars that started at a young age and continued throughout the rest of his life.

Wayne's life revolved around his family. He was extremely supportive and involved in all aspects of his children's lives. Wayne was a devoted and loving husband.

Wayne was our "go to" guy for everything. He could fix anything and everything. He was someone you could always count on.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 2:00pm at First Baptist of Roswell - 710 Mimosa Blvd, Roswell GA 30075.
