It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Joseph DeMichele, age 75, who passed away on August 30, 2024, surrounded by his family. Robert fondly known as Bob, was born in The Bronx, NY and raised in West Islip, NY, and was a proud alumnus of St. Bernard College in Cullman, AL.

Bob dedicated 30 years of his professional life to Atlantic Container Lines, where he served as a Regional Sales Manager, earning respect and admiration from colleagues and clients alike. He lived in Canton, GA, and had called the Atlanta area home from over 45 years.

He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Maureen DeMichele; his cherished daughters, Meredith Jordan(John), Meghann DeMichele, and Caitlin DeMichele; and his adored grandchildren, Ella Jordan (12), Lillian Frazier (11), Wyatt Jordan (10), and Brody Frazier (9). He is also survived by his sisters, Donna Douglas and Denise DeMichele. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Joan DeMichele.

Bob has a deep passion for classic cars, motor sports, and music and he found joy in spending time with his family and friends, many of whom he cherished for years.

A Funeral Mass in celebration of Bob's life will be held at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church in Roswell, GA, on Friday, September 6th at 10:30am. The family will receive guests in the Parish Hall immediately following the service.

Bob's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
