Russell Gordon, age 71, of Woodstock, GA passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024. Russ was born January 9, 1953 in Atlanta, GA. His parents were Charles Edgar Gordon and Polly Worth Chandler.

Russ grew up in Brookhaven, GA and was a graduate of Cross Keys HS, class of '71.

When he was young, he played football, rode motorcycles and later was involved in his step children's sports. He was a loyal follower of all Atlanta sports. He also loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and camper.

Russ leaves a brother, Hugh Gordon; sister in law, Teri Gordon; nephew, Jonathan Gordon; nieces, Sarah Johanneson and Rebecca Mashburn; and stepchildren, Thomas and Ashley, and 4 grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1 to 3pm on February 17, 2024 at Northside Chapel, 12050 Crabapple Rd, Roswell, GA.

He will be laid to rest at Watkinsville Cemetery at a date to be determined.
