Shirley Jean Zettler, beloved wife, grandmother, mother-in-law, aunt and friend, of Canton, GA passed away on October 19th, 2023, at the age of 75, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Shirley was born on August 6th, 1948, in Lewisville, TX, the daughter of James (JM) Monroe & Elizabeth Fuller. She married the love of her life, Bobby Zettler, in April of 1968. The couple met at State Farm Insurance and lived a happy and loving life together for 55 years. Shirley spent her entire career with State Farm, living in the Lewisville area until relocating to Georgia to be closer to her son and grandkids in 2013. Shirley adored her husband, family and grandchildren. Shirley and Bobby spent countless hours cheering in the stands, volunteering and supporting their grandsons and the Milton community. Shirley was a kind, loving, thoughtful and gracious woman. No time or distance could change the lasting impression she left on the hearts of those who were lucky to know and love her. She was one of a kind and will be greatly missed.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Zettler; her daughter in law, Dana Zettler; her grandchildren, Blake and Brayden Zettler; along with many nephews, cousins and friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her son, Brad Zettler; her parents, JM and Elizabeth Fuller; and her sister, Jerry Anne Adams.
