Obituary

Stephanie Eva Wagner, 35, of Johns Creek, Georgia, passed away on November 1, 2026. She was born on August 28, 1991.

Stephanie was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who brought so much love, laughter, and personality into the lives of those around her. She had an old soul, a big heart, and a deep love for the outdoors, nature, and animals. She was incredibly artistic and had a sarcastic wit that could make anyone laugh. Stephanie was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone, always putting others before herself. She absolutely adored her dog, Fletcher, and was a devoted fan of the Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks, and Georgia Bulldogs. She will be remembered for her generous heart, her creativity, her humor, and the way she made the people in her life feel loved.

In keeping with the selfless and giving person she was throughout her life, Stephanie became an organ donor in 2019. Even in her passing, she continued to give to others, and her gift has already saved five lives. There is no greater reflection of her beautiful heart than the lives she has helped give a second chance. Her legacy will live on through those lives and the countless people who loved her.

Stephanie is survived by her parents, William and Debra Wagner; her sisters, Michele Wagner and Colleen Niemonen; her brother-in-law, Tyler Niemonen; her beloved niece, Scottie Niemonen; and her cherished dog, Fletcher. She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved sister, Amanda Wagner, where we find comfort knowing they are together again.

In lieu of flowers: The family invites those wishing to honor Stephanie's memory to make a donation to one of the following organizations that reflect her love for animals, nature, and helping others:

  • National Wildlife Federation
  • Atlanta Humane Society
