Susan Stinecipher (53), passed away peacefully at Northside Hospital surrounded by her family and friends in Canton, GA on July 17, 2025, following a five-year battle with breast cancer. Susan was born on March 2, 1972, in Chicago, IL, but lived most of her life in the metropolitan Atlanta area. While she met and initially dated her soul mate, Robert Stinecipher, in her early twenties, life eventually led each of them on separate paths. However, in 2013, Susan and Robert were reunited 20 years later and then ultimately, through God's grace and intervention, they were married on April 17, 2021 as born-again Christians. After a 20+ year career in corporate sales at SPS, Co., Susan decided to make a professional change and launched Aerie Interiors, a home staging company that allowed her to showcase her God-given talent for creating beautifully inviting spaces. Following her cancer diagnosis, Susan found tremendous strength by leaning into her faith; and even through the on-going suffering, she enjoyed sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. She is survived by her husband, Robert Stinecipher; mother, Patrica Bodine; father, David J. Batka and stepmother, Sandra Batka; brothers, David L. Batka and wife, Jennifer Batka (Alex & Evan), Mark Batka (Addison & Ethan) and Michael Batka and wife, Victoria Batka (Sloan, Lehne & Grant); aunts, Donna Hahn and Starr Bodine and many other extended family members.
