Suzanne Daub Feeney

Suzanne lived a life marked by faith, love, laughter, determination, independence, and an unmistakable zest for life.

Suzanne Daub Feeney, 82, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on September 15, 2026, leaving behind a family and circle of friends who loved her dearly and whose lives were forever touched by hers. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Suzanne lived a life marked by faith, love, laughter, determination, independence, and an unmistakable zest for life.

Suzanne was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Chestnut Hill. Her family later moved to Wilmington, Delaware, where she attended Ursuline Academy. She went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene School in Philadelphia. Soon after, Suzanne met and fell in love with the love of her life, Michael Patrick “Mike” Feeney. They were married at Sacred Heart Oratory in Wilmington, Delaware. Their life together quickly became an adventure. Suzanne moved with Mike to Seoul, South Korea, where they began their married life. When IBM transferred the couple to the San Jose, California, area, Suzanne and Mike continued building their family and welcomed their three children.

In 1974, IBM transferred the family to Roswell, Georgia, where Suzanne would make her home for the next 41 years. That same year, the Feeneys became members of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Alpharetta, Georgia, where her faith remained a cornerstone of her life for more than five decades. Roswell became the place where Suzanne put down deep roots, raised her family, built lasting friendships, and created a home where people were always welcomed. Later in life, she made her home in Alpharetta and, finally, at Dahlonega Assisted Living in Dahlonega, Georgia.

Suzanne was a woman of remarkable creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. She was the proud owner and operator of Impressions by Suzanne on the Historic Roswell Square, where her talent, elegant style, flair for etiquette, and love of people came together. But her greatest gifts were not found in a storefront. Suzanne was an amazing cook and entertainer who loved bringing people together around her table. She was the social planner and the ultimate hostess, the one who made every detail meaningful, made every gathering feel special, and made sure everyone felt included and welcomed.

Suzanne had a smile and laugh that were contagious, and she brought energy and personality wherever she went. She loved a good conversation and especially loved to debate. She was outspoken about the people, causes, and passions that mattered to her and was never afraid to share what she thought. She was also an avid reader and a devoted fan of mystery and crime shows. She loved her family and friends fiercely and treasured the many relationships she built throughout her life.

Above all else, Suzanne loved her God and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her faith was not simply something she practiced; it was the foundation from which she loved, served, forgave, and lived. Her faith gave her strength and shaped the way she cared for the people around her. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, friendship, hospitality, courage, conviction, and love.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Margaret Daub; her sister, Margaret Mary Daub; and her beloved husband, Michael Patrick Feeney.

She is survived by her children, Joe Feeney of Chattanooga, Tennessee; Dan Feeney and his wife, Julie, of Dahlonega, Georgia; and Megan Johnson and her husband, Gary, of New Bern, North Carolina; and her grandchildren, Brianna and Micaela Johnson, and Nora, Emory, and Catherine Feeney. She also leaves behind many cherished family members and lifelong friends whose lives were made richer simply by knowing her.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Suzanne’s life on Friday, September 25, 2026, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. The Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m., followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. A reception and time of fellowship will follow in the church hall from approximately 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Following the reception, the family and friends will travel to Sawnee View Memorial Gardens in Cumming, Georgia, where a burial service will be held at approximately 1:00 p.m.

Suzanne’s life was a gift to all who knew her. She loved deeply, gave generously, entertained joyfully, spoke passionately, and never did anything halfway. Her family will miss her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, strong opinions, spirited debates, incredible cooking, perfectly planned gatherings, and the simple joy of having her in their lives. Most of all, they will miss the enormous love she gave so freely. They will carry her memory forward with gratitude, comforted by the faith she held so deeply and by the hope that she is now resting peacefully in the loving arms of the Savior she cherished throughout her life.
