Sydney Jerome DeSouza, age 88 of Alpharetta, GA. passed away on July 18, 2025. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and was a proud member of the Atlanta Indian Catholic Association
Mr. DeSouza attended school at St. Francis De Sales in Nagpur, India and also completed his Engineering at Wadia College in Pune India He was an active member of IEEE, Knights of Columbus, Kiwanis Club and SEL where he actively contributed to his fellow seniors.
Sydney retired from Siemens USA after completing over 38 years of service
Mr. DeSouza is survived by his wife, Maryanne DeSouza; son, Peter DeSouza; daughter, Nisha DeSouza and grandson, Kian.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 11am eastern at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 535 Rucker Rd., Alpharetta, GA. 30009. The service will be livestreamed via https://www.facebook.com/stacatholicchurch

A reception will follow the mass beginning at 12:30pm eastern at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors, 12050 Crabapple Rd, Roswell, GA. 30075.
